Survived by wife, Ruth Vandergrift Shannon; son, Michael Morgan Shannon; daughter, Paula Sue Basnett; sisters, Deloris Traxler, Helen Dugan; grandchildren, Olivia and Joel Basnett; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Madison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8, with military rites at 7:30 pm.
