• Joseph Woodrow Riggins, Madison, age 88 passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph Lawrence and Albert Ghee Riggins, Sr.; step-daughter, Glenda Jean Pruitt; brothers, Paul and Joseph Lawrence Riggins, Jr. Mr. Riggins is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Virginia Riggins; sons, Joseph Woodrow Riggins, Jr., Michael Lawrence Riggins; sisters, Linda Joyce (Leon) Smith, Annie Lee (Garland) Bowden, both of Nomandy, Tn.; grandchildren, Randy (Marty) Riggins, Tommy (Mindy) Pruitt, Rachel (Mark)Dahlen, Michael Riggins, Charlie (Tara) Riggins; great grandchildren, Pierce and Lindi Riggins and Blake Pruitt. Mr. Riggins was a member of the Old Hickory Masonic Lodge #598 F&AM for over 64 years, 32 ½ degree Shriner - Knight Commander. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Mr. Riggins was a member of City Road UMC for fifty years and a DuPont employee for 42 years. Visitation with the family at Madison Funeral Home Tuesday, November 30, 2010 2 - 6 p.m. Masonic Rites at 6:30 p.m. and a funeral service conducted at 7:30 p.m. Interment Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Middle Tn.
