Preceded in death by his parents William and Una Mae Hampton; sisters, Rosemary and Brenda; brother Tommy.

John was employed with AEL.

Survived by his wife, Cindy and children, John D. , Brandon and Tina; sister, Linda; brother, Danny; aunt, Wilma and seven nieces, nephews and uncles.
