Campbell, J. D., age 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Virsel and Willie Mae Smith Campbell; sisters, Sybil (Melvin) Curtis, Colleen (James) Tweedy; Shirley Grinnell; brother-in-law, Buddy Anderson. Survived by wife, Mildred A. Campbell; daughter, Sherri Campbell, Kimberly J. (Mark) Vaughn, Lisa C. (Jeff) Gregory; sisters, Geneva Anderson, Jean (Verbil) Ferrell, Betty (Bill) McDuffee; brother, Harry L. (Helen) Campbell; brother-in-law, Nathan Grinnell; grandchildren, Courtney G. (David) Loud, Crystal (Alex) Armstrong, Whitney A. Gregory, Daniel Davidson. J. D. was a founding member of Cornerstone Church, a Korean War Veteran, and retired from Pirelli Tire Company. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Friday, 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral service at Cornerstone Church Saturday 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.
