DORRIS III, Sid Cornelius Age 63, died November 19, 2010. Preceded in death by wife Sherry Damron Dorris, father Sid C. Dorris II, and mother Elizabeth Dorris. Survived by son, Chad Brandon (Tia)Dorris grand- children, Barrett and Kate Dorris; sisters Brenda Baker and Darlene McAlister; nieces, Laura and Emily Damron; nephew, Scott Baker. He was a member of McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge 375 and Master 1985; 1994 Grand Commander Knights Templar of Tennessee; 2006 Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of TN; 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason; Currently Grand Generalissimo Knights Templar. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Monday, November 22, 2010 from 3-8 p.m. (Masonic funeral held 7 pm). The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Phillips and Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating. Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Interment at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Lasting memorial may be donations can made to the American Cancer Society.
