Helen Burks

BURKS, Helen Crawford, age 80, passed away December 6, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Homer and Olga Crawford; brother, James Crawford. Survived by husband, James William Burks; Sons, James William Burks, III, Jonathan Wayne Burks, and Joseph Weldon Burks; Daughter, Susie Elizabeth Snider; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Mrs. Burks was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was the first female pediatrician in Hendersonville, TN where she has practiced over 40 years. Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 10, 2012 from 1-7 p.m. in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home.
