H. R. Nash

NASH, Sr. H.R. "Butch" of Goodlettsville, TN age 83 passed away on February 4, 2011. He was born June 19, 1927 to Virgil and Hattie Bell Nash who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Earl Nash, Bill Nash and Raymond Nash. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Burkhardt Nash; daughter, Rebecca (Rich) Wilson; sons, Michael (Lynda) Nash, H.R. Nash, Jr. and Guy Nash. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Many nephews and nieces. Mr. Nash was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was Past Commander of Post 82 American Legion, also Past Chef De' Gare of Voiture 702, in La Societe Des 40 Homunes Et 8 Chevaux. Mr. Nash was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Al Menah Shrine Temple. The family will receive friends Sunday (today) at Madison Funeral Home 219 Old Hickory Blvd. East, Madison, TN from 1 to 6PM and where funeral services will conducted on Monday, February 7 at 1PM with Bro. Sellers Crain officiating. Nephew will serve as pallbearers. Masonic service on Sunday at 2PM conducted by Madison Lodge #762. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
