Cornelia leaves to carry her legacy two devoted and loving children son, Maurice Goodner; daughter, Takoiya Goodner; grandchildren, Amia and Juanta Goodner; Sisters, Convonnia (James) Russell, Sasandra ( Steve) Fitzgerald; uncles, Leonard Jones, Jimmy Johnson; A host of three generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends. 
Preceded in death by her parents: mother, May Jo Preston-Goodner;  father, Thomas Lee Goodner; grandfather, Jodie (Pauline) Preston; grandmothers, Mary Rainey Jones, Cornelia Goodner; granddaughter, Destini Goodner; brothers, Terry, Eddie Preston;  Aunts, Linda, Betty, Jean, Christine Lewis, Attie Mae Finley, Louise Trice; Uncles, James Jones, Fred, Bullhead, Jimmy Goodner; Niece, Rakale Walker.

Cornelia loved spending quality time with her family, especially  her grandchildren. She loved entertaining including cooking, eating, listening to music and playing family feud.
