Carol Lynn McCord

Carol Lynn McCord born September 27, 1960 departed this life on March 20, 2025. She was the seventh child, the second set of three sets of twins born to the Sammy and Willafredora Seay. 

Carol “Lump” as she was often called by her family. She was educated in the Davidson County Public Schools. Graduated with diploma from Stratford High School. She held various positions in her lifetime, including patient escort and warehouse associate. Carol was always noted for her smile and sense of humor. She loved cooking, playing cards and helping others. She found joy in her faith as  Johovah Witnessand remained loyal until death. 

Preceded in death by her parents Sammy and Willafredora Seay; son, Clarence Edward McCord Jr,; sister, Linda Jeanette Seay.

Carol leaves to cherish her memories a grandson, Clarence Edward McCord lll ; sisters, Pamela Reed and Brenda Seay; brothers, Twin Darryl , Larry, Terry, Jerry and Dwight Seay; nieces, Sisera (Carl) Daniel, Lakisha, Marquita, April seay; nephews, Lorenzo (Terica) Seay, Marvin ( Cherish) Seay.

Carol will be missed deeply by her family and friends she has left a forever imprint on each of our hearts.
