Beverly Stokely

STOKELY, Beverly Warren, Old Hickory, TN., age 71, passed away on April 3, 2012. Preceded in death by loving husband, J. Murray Stokely; parents, Neil and Agnes Warren. Mrs. Stokely is survived by sons, James Stokely of Old Hickory, TN, Andrew (Crystal) Stokely of Gallatin, TN., William (Jessica Leonard) Stokely of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Ethan and Parker Stokely; aunt, Mildred (Jimmy) Kennon; family friend, Chelsey Stuart. Mrs. Stokely was a retired teacher with Metro Schools and a member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. She was a graduate of DuPont High School. She earned her BS degree from David Lipscomb University and her Master of Arts in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home on Thursday 4 to 8 PM. Following visitation, Mrs. Stokely will be transported to Manes Funeral Home, Newport, TN., where the family will receive friends Friday 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral services Saturday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Manes Funeral Home, 363 East Main St. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Newport, TN.
